Goodbye, America — A Chapter Well Lived

It is time to say goodbye to America. After ten years of building my life here, the moment has finally arrived to close this chapter and begin another on the other side of the universe. A decade sounds long, but living it felt like a collection of vivid moments — some loud, some quiet, all unforgettable.
I’m going to miss Disneyland more than I expected. It wasn’t just a theme park; it was a place where I let myself be a kid again, where magic felt real and worries felt small. I’ll miss the spontaneous hiking trips with random people from Meetup — strangers who became temporary companions on trails that always led to good conversations and unexpected laughter.
I’ll miss my lonely time in San Diego, too. Those quiet days taught me how to be comfortable with myself. I’ll miss Comic-Con’s chaotic joy, the energy of Universal Studios Hollywood, and the countless little adventures that made California feel like a living postcard.
There’s a lot I’ll miss. But life continues.
A new chapter is waiting for me, and I’m ready to explore new places, meet new people, and create new memories — just like I did here. I’m grateful for everything America gave me: an education, professional experience, savings to carry me forward, and someone who genuinely cares about me.
Ten years ago, I arrived with hopes. Today, I leave with stories.
Goodbye, America. Thank you for shaping me.
